CABHC invites persons in mental health and/or drug & alcohol recovery, their family members, and others who support them in a professional capacity to attend a training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This training will assist participants in understanding ACEs and their impact on child and adult mental and physical health functioning. Participants will also learn practical tools to manage strong emotions and sensations in a brain-based response to trauma, as well as how to build resilience.
