“Forensic Peer Specialists embody the potential for recovery for people who confront the dual stigmas associated with serious mental illness and criminal justice involvement” (Davidson and Rowe, 2008)
This continuing education opportunity is designed to enhance the capacity of Certified Peer Specialists and Recovery Specialists to fulfill a serious gap in supportive services for justice involved individuals.
