Anxiety and What to do With It
This training was created in response to seeing a pattern of misunderstanding and misinformation surrounding anxiety and trauma within treatment settings. The hope was to shed some light on what happens in a person’s body and brain when they are experiencing the symptoms of anxiety and trauma. The training will address what we as professionals can do to support individuals to get through those times. This training will help to decrease some of the stigma surrounding trauma and anxiety, introduce much needed de-escalation techniques, and teach simple but effective coping and mindfulness skills.
